About Access OT

Access OT specialises in Mental Health and Neurodiversity, however you do
not need a diagnosis to use this service. Access OT values diversity and inclusion and our services are open to anyone aged 17+ who is seeking support with their everyday occupations.

 

Our services are offered online and via the phone, so you can access quality
support from the privacy and comfort of your home.

How can Occupational Therapy support me?

Occupational Therapy can support you to engage in the meaningful activities of your day-to-day life when you are finding this challenging. Some areas you may focus on in OT can include:

Meet Aisling

Aisling is the Occupational Therapist behind Access OT. Aisling was awarded a BSc in Occupational Therapy from Trinity College Dublin in 2019 and is AOTI and CORU registered.

 

Aisling has worked in a variety of settings including universities, disability services and inpatient mental health services.

 

Aisling is experienced in working with young adults with Developmental
Coordination Disorder (DCD)/Dyspraxia, dyslexia, ADHD, Autism and older
adults with mental health concerns.

 

Aisling has completed additional training in Motivational Interviewing, Sensory Processing, Universal Design for Learning, ASSIST, Remotivation Process, training in eating disorders and LGBT healthcare.

Aisling is passionate about inclusion and diversity in healthcare and acted as vice chairperson for the Gender and Sexuality in Occupational Therapy Advisory Group under the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI) for 2 years.
